Christie Street Refugee Welcome Centre (CRWC) is located in the heart of downtown Toronto, has been a shelter and safe haven for refugees for almost two decades. Approximately 400 refugees come through the Centre each year and receive the care, support and assistance needed to begin their new lives in Canada.

Political violence, ethnic disputes and economic disparities displace millions of people a year. We stand for the displaced by specializing in Immigrant Services and Refugee Resettlement in the United States. Every year, World Relief's network of regional offices and partner churches resettle approximately 10% of all refugees entering the United States, providing language skills, job training and spiritual services for our new community members.

We have Gospel Messages (Words of Life) in over 5,800 different languages and dialects of the world. Currently about 2/3rds of them are available on our web site for listening and/or free download. We would like to make these recordings available to people, churches and organizations that are working with refugees around the world.
